MARIA CAMAHORT - CASTELLÓ D'EMPÚRIES

Maria Camahort is a classically trained guitarist specializing in chamber music and interdisciplinary projects. She has experience as a performer, composer, arranger and educator in a wide variety of artistic contexts.  

With her own projects and other collaborations, Maria has performed in national and international concert halls: London (Milton Court, Southbank Centre, Kings Place), Paris (Salle Cortot), St. Petersburg (Glasunov Hall), Barcelona (L'Auditori), Madrid (Círculo de Bellas Artes), Warsaw (Lutoslawsky Hall), Krakow, Edinburgh, Brussels (European Commission), City of MMexico, Chicago, Auckland, Bethlehem, etc. 

Has been awarded in the I Miquel Llobet Composition Competition (Second Prize), III María de Pablos Composition Competition (Second Prize), IV María de Pablos Composition Competition. His compositions have been performed in Spain, France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany and Austria.
